Quick and Easy Pizza Dough

I added a good squirt of honey and changed the sugar to 1 tbsp. I thought this was great! And so quick!! I made one pizza with this recipe and one pizza with dough purchased from the pizza place in a local supermarket. They tasted the same, I was really surprised.

I just tried this recipe, used the 1 tbsp. of sugar and honey as suggested. It turned out great! And it was so easy to make, had no trouble at all.

You need to add some evoo (olive oil) to this! Otherwise, it's too dense and has little flavor. I added 1/4 of a cup to a doubled recipe. Good luck. L.

Good recipe, also used the honey and made the salt and sugar to 1 tbsp. Added about 1 tbsp. dry basil. Made the kitchen smell great while baking.

I used the recipe but left out the honey and basil. I used 1 tbsp. turbinado (RAW) sugar, 1 tsp. salt and a shot of extra virgin olive oil (EVOO). I added 1 tbsp. fennel to the dough and 1 tsp. cracked pepper. I let the yeast rise, added the sugar then tossed all into my Kitchen Aid mixer with the dough hook. I added the evoo right before I pulled off the mixer. Rolled dough out thin and square for a calzone sort of pocket/envelope that I filled with my homemade sausage sauce. Lowered rack and set 20 minutes at 400°F preheated gas oven. Added salad, glass of red wine and just a small slice of my GREAT pizza. Thin and crispy crust! YUM!

Instead of honey, I put in 6 tbsp. coriander and 4 tbsp. crushed mint. It also helped to use very cold water instead of hot water.

This is an awesome recipe in a hurry. I tried it out for my husband and his friend and it was a super hit! I added an extra tsp of sugar (brown) and used whole white flour. I would let it rise a bit longer next time though.

My 3 year old daughter and I make pizza all the time using store-bought dough. Tonight she wanted pizza and we had all the ingredients to make it... except for the dough! The baby was asleep and I couldn't make a trip to the store. I found this one online and we made it together. Yum! Super-fast and tasty. I'm adding it to my list of top 5 things to make at home with my kid!

I tried this recipe with adding a teaspoon of garlic and I thought that it tasted amazing. It definitely added some taste to the crust.

It's super easy. It's my first time making pizza. All I got was compliments. Honey instead of sugar is the way to go!!! Love it, love it and love it!!

Super easy! I used half brown flour/ half white, worked out great! The kids loved it! (tough crowd to please most nights.) I love the fact that you don't have to wait some ridiculous amount of time for the dough to rise. Perfect recipe for the mama or papa on the go!
