I have this recipe cooking in my crockpot as I am typing this. It has been cooking for over six hours, and it is still not done. I am going to have to put it in the oven for it to finish. The taste is good, but the cooking time is way short.

@Katherine..There is something wrong with your crock pot. Mine cooked in exactly the time the recipe says, and I actually used a third more ingredients.

Love this recipe. Used it for Thanksgiving and now for Christmas. Very easy and no more dried leftovers!!!! Never going back to oven-baked dressing again!

I have been making this dressing for 2 years now and I love it. I don't like crunchy dressing so this was perfect for me. Growing up i would watch my Grandmother and Mother sit and cut celery and onions for hours trying to make their traditional dressing. When i saw how much celery and onions were in this recipe i had to try it. I do use a little more poultry seasoning than the recipe calls for, but I think it's delicious. I also use a slow cooker liner for less cleanup.

I've made this for a few years now, my family loves it. I add a 'lil more poultry also and some chicken thighs. Taste is awesome :-D
