I made these mints for our wedding 32 years ago. Recently I decided to make and donate the mints to a fundraiser but am having trouble finding the mold I had used before. It was a gray soft mold that when after dipping in sugar and pressing in to the mold it was easy to push out to a cookie sheet. Any ideas?

Does anyone have an opinion on how long these can be frozen in advance for an event?

I have kept the mixed, unmolded 'dough' in the fridge for several weeks w/o a problem. I froze some, for a couple months, that seem fine too. Once I took some out of the freezer and put them right into the serving bowl, headed out the door to a shower, and they were all stuck together when I got there--so don't try that! ;)

I have made the same recipe using vanilla flavoring, rolled them into small balls and kept them in the freezer. I colored them with green food coloring and rolled them in coconut. They were just the right consistancy from the freezer. Only problem was my kids kept opening the freezer to grab a handful.
