JOE'S SPANISH RICE | |
2 cups white rice 1/4 cup cooking oil 1/4 onion, diced 1/4 green bell pepper, diced 1/8 tsp. garlic powder 1 cup tomato sauce 2 cups water Heat oil in a large pan. Cook rice until lightly puffed. Pour in onions and peppers and cook for 3 minutes. Add tomato sauce and stir well so rice all gets a tint of red. After 3 more minutes pour in water and bring to a boil, lower temperature to low and stir every ten minutes until rice is fluffy. Submitted by: Joe Gallegos |
