1 c. butter
1 c. sugar
1 egg
1 egg white
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. salt
2 c. flour
1 c. chopped walnuts

Cream butter, add sugar and egg; sift flour, cinnamon and salt together. Add to cream mixture. Divide dough into two portions; spread dough paper thin on greased cookie sheet; spread slightly beaten egg white on top. Sprinkle with chopped walnuts. Bake at 275 degrees for 1 hour. Cut into squares while warm.
