ALMOND CHICK UP 
1/2 c. flour
1/2 c. slivered almonds
3/4 c. water
1/2 c. sour cream
1/2 c. shortening
1 can consomme
14 oz. ketchup
Chicken pieces (boneless preferred)

Drench chicken in seasoned flour (salt, pepper, paprika) and brown in shortening. Place in large casserole. Saute almonds and blend remaining flour mixture, stir in consomme, water and ketchup. When this begins to thicken, stir in sour cream. Pour over chicken, cover, and bake at 375 degrees for 50 minutes.
