GOURMET CHICKEN AND RICE 
1 fryer, cut in serving pieces
1 can onion soup
1 can cream of chicken soup (or cream of mushroom)
1 soup can cold water
1 c. raw rice

Put rice in casserole. Mix the soups and water and pour over rice. Stir a little.

Season chicken and place on top of mixture. Bake until chicken is done (about 1 to 1 1/2 hours).

Put chicken skin side down and halfway through cooking, turn it over. Set oven at 350 degrees.
