BEEF AND NOODLES 
3 lb. stew meat
3 tbsp. oil
1 med. onion, chopped
Salt & pepper to taste

Brown meat in oil with onion, salt and pepper until meat is well browned. This browning will flavor the whole dish so brown well. Cover meat with enough water to completely cover meat. Cover and simmer until meat is tender, approximately 2 hours.

Add 2 cups frozen corn and 1 cup sliced mushrooms; return to boil. Add 1 large package egg noodles, uncooked. Cook until noodles are tender, about 8-10 minutes. Serve at once. Noodles should cause juice to thicken. If not, thicken with a little flour and water.
