2 1/2 lbs. hamburger 1 onion (chopped) 1 green pepper (chopped) 2 (15 oz.) + 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce 1 (12 oz.) can tomato juice 2 (4 oz.) cans sliced mushrooms 1 can cream style corn (2 c.) 1/2 pkg. thin noodles (cooked) 1 to 2 buds garlic 1/2 lb. Longhorn cheese Brown meat, onions and peppers; salt and pepper to taste. Put in large saucepan, add tomato sauce, juice, corn and garlic. Cook until slightly thickened - not watery; add noodles (cooked). Pour into large casserole; bake 20 minutes at 350 degrees; shred cheese and sprinkle over casserole. Stuffed green olives can be sliced and added to the cheese topping. Bake 10 minutes more in oven. Serve with green salad and bread sticks. |
