I made this recipe about 30 years ago, lost it but found it again here. This is a quick and delicious cobbler that I would recommend to anyone. My guests always liked it and was pleasantly surprised & impressed when I popped it in the oven so fast.

Great recipe. I make it all the time with fresh blueberries, apples, peaches, etc. I cook down the fruits with a little bit of sugar, water and cornstarch to make the fruit more flavorful. Thanks

Absolutely horrible... Followed directions... never cooked... it was like sponge soaked in butter ...

I hope you didn't try to bake this in a cold oven...

Yep! Mine was a buttery mess, too. I'm 81 and have been making cobblers for 60 years both inside in ovens and outside over open fire in cast iron dutch ovens. Worst cobbler ever.

Same recipe my family always made. I love it! The ones that call for cake mix are much too sweet.

I'm 81 - been making this recipe over 60 years. It never fails to please and family raves over it like it took hours to prepare. They can't believe it's as simple as "dump". :)

Two tips, the frozen blackberries are too sweet for my taste so I add lemon juice to give them a natural taste. I also sprinkle salt to the buttered pan to make it really taste buttery!
