| EASY STRAWBERRY COBBLER | |

1 stick (1/4 lb.) butter 4 c. strawberries 1 c. sugar Batter: 1 c. sugar 1 c. self-rising flour 1 c. milk Preheat oven to 375°F. Melt 1 stick butter in 9x13-inch pan. Mix together 4 cups strawberries and 1 cup sugar. Put in saucepan, bring to boil. Mix together second 1 cup sugar, 1 cup flour and 1 cup milk. Blend until moistened. Pour batter over melted butter. Put strawberry mixture over batter. Bake 30 minutes. Delicious with vanilla ice cream. | |
