OLD FASHIONED BRUNSWICK STEW 
2 hogs heads
2 hens
2 lbs. good beef
2 qts. canned corn
4 qts. canned tomatoes
1 pt. apple vinegar
2 bottles tomato catsup
2 c. sugar
1 gal. chicken broth
Worcestershire sauce, salt, black and red pepper to taste

Cook hogs head, beef and chicken until tender; cook chicken separately. Grind all together, then add broth, vinegar, sauce, catsup, sugar, salt and pepper. Mix all and cook until thick. Put in jars and seal.

Thank you so much posting this recipe. Only the very best Brunswick stew is made from hog's heads. And true stew does not call for beans and potatoes - that is almost like a thick soup. One of my family members won a blue ribbon in Brunswick Ga. with a recipe very similar to this one - only difference is they used boston butts.
