FROSTED MEATLOAF | |
1 1/2 lbs. hamburger 1 can golden mushroom soup 1 c. bread crumbs 1/4 c. onions, chopped 1 egg, beaten 1/2 tsp. salt & pepper 2 c. mashed potatoes 1/4 c. water 2 tbsp. drippings Mix beef, 1/2 cup soup, bread, onion, egg, salt and pepper. Shape loaf. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Frost loaf with mashed potatoes and bake 15 minutes longer. Blend remaining soup, water and drippings. Heat; pour over loaf and bake 15 minutes longer. Also can add a dash of Heinz 57 and dry beef and mushroom soup if desired. |
