MEATBALLS ITALIAN STYLE

1/4 c. Romano cheese, grated (imported preferred)
1 tsp. salt
Black pepper to taste
1 1/2 tbsp. basil

Excellent recipe. Easy, tasty and even the "non-meat eating" grandkids liked these meatballs. I'll make them again and again.

Just made the meatballs last night for dinner with friends and everyone loved them. They were very moist and the basil gave just a hint of sweetness. It was like a small explosion of flavor when you bite in to them.

I just made these meatballs and they are so yummy. I've always wanted to make meatballs but they always seemed a little intimidating. This recipe is easy, fast and I know my family will love it!

Very tasty. But instead I did 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, used buttery rounds (Ritz) crackers and a cup of spaghetti sauce to the mix. They were very tasty and moist. Would make these again!

I made these meatballs, but instead of baking them, I did the unhealthy thing and friend them in a pan. They were amazing! I also added a little minced onion to counter/compliment the garlic :) Great recipe!

If you use leftover minced roasted meat instead of ground beef, you'll see that your meatballs will taste even better!!! And bake them directly in a pan with little oil having them coated with flour previously, then, when they are cooked on both sides, add tomato sauce.

Excellent recipe! I was looking for a new meatball recipe to use with my from scratch spaghetti sauce. Complimented each other perfectly! Only thing I did differently was split the ground beef 50/50 with mild pork sausage. Had an old world Italian lady tell me that was the secret to her meatballs!

I used this recipe but doubled it and omitted the spaghetti sauce. I backed them and when they were finished I froze them. I had made this recipe before and it was good however when I add these to my spaghetti sauce they soak up some of the sauce which is way I omitted the sauce. Doubling the recipe I only have to make them once a month even if I make spaghetti and meat balls 4 times a month. 4 meat balls is all you need I had 1 left over and cut it in half for a meatball sammie...

Not a very good cook, so am THRILLED when recipes like these are simple enough for me to do and turn out tasting like heaven. This will become a family favorite. Even my husband was impressed.
