HAM AND RICE PATIO SALAD 
1 pkg. frozen peas
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/4 c. water
1 (6 oz.) pkg. minute rice
3/4 c. mayonnaise
1/2 c. chopped dill pickle
1 tsp. grated onion
Dash of pepper
1 c. chopped ham
1 c. slivered cheese (your choice)

Add peas and salt to water in sauce pan: bring to boil. Add rice and mix to moisten rice, cover and set aside for 13 minutes. Add other ingredients. Stir and chill. Serve on lettuce leaves and garnish with tomato wedges. Note: you can add 1/4 cup of sour cream and 1/2 cup mayonnaise if you wish. Serves 6 to 8 women. 5 hungry men!!!
