PORK CHOPS AND SAUERKRAUT 
6 1" thick pork chops
1 lg. can sauerkraut (Bavarian brand is excellent)
1 tsp. caraway seeds
Potatoes, peeled & grated, as needed
Salt & pepper to taste

Brown pork chops in greased hot skillet on both sides. Set aside. Line casserole dish with sauerkraut. Add caraway seeds only if not already in canned sauerkraut. Sauerkraut should be above 1 inch thick in dish. Cover kraut 1 inch deep with potatoes. Top with browned pork chops. Season. Bake in 350 degree oven about 1 hour or until pork chops are done.
