| CRAB MEAT APPETIZERS | |

1 stick butter, softened 6-7 oz. crabmeat, flaked 1/2 tsp. mayonnaise 1/2 tsp. garlic salt 1 (8 oz.) jar Cheez Whiz 6 English muffins, halved Combine first 5 ingredients in bowl, mixing well. Spread on muffins. Place on cookie sheet and freeze. Cut each half into quarters. Broil until golden. Yields 49 servings (about 55 calories each). | |

I added some 2 more cans of crab meat, Old Bay Seasoning and chopped water chestnuts. These additions gave the appetizer more taste and substance. I might consider chopped green onions in the future, too.
