LEMON CAKE WITH LEMON ICING 
1 Betty Crocker yellow cake mix with the pudding inside
4 eggs
2/3 c. less 1 tbsp. salad oil
2/3 c. water
1 sm. pkg. lemon Jello

Do not follow instructions on cake mix box. Instead, put mix in a large bowl and add eggs, water, oil and Jello. Mix on medium speed of electric mixer. Oil a 4 quart flat pan. Pour batter into pan and bake on middle shelf of oven at 350 degrees for 35 to 45 minutes. Remove from oven and while still warm, pierce with a fork. Ice cake with lemon icing while still warm. YUM YUM!

LEMON ICING:

2 c. powdered sugar
1/4 c. lemon juice

Mix together until spreading consistency.

This is a great recipe. And I have baked it for my family for a long time now. But you can take it another step further.. After you add the lemon glaze, mix one container of cool whip and one container of Betty Crocker lemon icing together. Top the cake and enjoy!
