ELISA'S TATER TOT CASSEROLE - BREAKFAST STYLE! | |
1 lb. ground turkey 1 lb. mild sausage 2/3 cup chopped onion 1/2 tsp. garlic powder 1 (26 oz.) can condensed cream of mushroom soup (family size) salt and pepper, to taste 4 large eggs, scrambled (or 1 cup egg beaters) 1 1/2 cups sharp cheddar cheese, divided frozen hash browns (tater tots) Brown ground turkey and sausage along with onion and garlic powder. Drain. Transfer mixture to large casserole dish. Stir into meat mixture a family sized can of cream of mushroom soup. Season withsalt and pepper. Stir well. Scramble eggs (or use egg beaters). Add 1/2 cup cheddar cheese. Layer eggs evenly over top of meat mixture. Spread remaining cheese over egg, covering completely. Top with hash browns.
