MAKE-AHEAD BREAKFAST CASSEROLE 
1 lb. sausage
6 slices bread, cubed
1 c. Cheddar cheese, grated
8 eggs, slightly beaten
2 c. milk
1 tsp. dry mustard

Crumble sausage in medium skillet. Cook over medium heat until brown, stirring occasionally. Drain well. Spread bread cubes in buttered baking dish. Top with sausage and cheese.

Combine eggs, milk and seasonings; beat well and pour over cheese. Cover and refrigerate overnight. Bake at 350 degrees for 35-40 minutes.

This is really good. I mixed sausage and bacon for extra flavor. I also added onions when I cooked the sausage and used sharp cheddar cheese. Mine cooked in a glass dish for 45 mins.

Pretty good, did bacon and grilled onions (cooked in bacon grease) instead. Also used whole loaf of bread and 10 eggs to fill large baking dish. Fed 6 people with no left overs.

I made this using sweet italian sausage and added some onions I carmelized after cooking the sausage. I also cooked it right away instead of refrigerating overnight and it turned out great!
