SCALLOPED CABBAGE 
1 sm. head cabbage
2 tbsp. butter
2 tbsp. flour
1 (11 oz.) can cream of mushroom soup, undiluted
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. black pepper
Buttered bread crumbs

Slice cabbage and boil until tender in very little water. DO NOT DRAIN. Melt butter, add flour and blend. Add soup, salt and pepper. Stir until thickened. Combine cabbage and soup mixture. Pour into greased casserole. Sprinkle with bread crumbs. Bake at 350 degrees for about 30 minutes.

Serves 6.
