TOMATO SCALLOPED CABBAGE 
1 (16 oz.) can tomatoes
1/4 c. chopped onion
1/4 c. chopped green pepper
1 c. chopped cabbage
1/2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
2 tbsp. melted butter
3/4 c. dry bread crumbs
1/2 c. grated sharp cheese

Alternate layers of tomatoes, vegetable, crumbs and seasonings and cheese in well greased casserole. Top with crumbs. Pour on melted butter. Bake uncovered in preheated 375 degree oven for 45 minutes.
