SCALLOPED TOMATOES WITH CHEESE 
1/2 c. herb bread stuffing
1 (No. 2 1/2) can tomatoes, drained and chopped
1 1/2 tbsp. butter
1/2 tsp. garlic salt
1/4 tsp. oregano
2 tsp. sugar
1 c. thinly sliced onion
3/4 c. grated cheddar cheese

Mix the garlic salt, oregano and sugar with tomatoes. Place in a shallow buttered baking dish, in alternating layers, the seasoned tomatoes, the onions, the cheese and the stuffing, with a cheese and stuffing layer on top. Dot with butter and bake in a 325 degree oven for about 45 minutes.
