GERMAN RASPBERRY CRUMB BARS | |
1 1/2 c. quick oats 3/4 c. sugar 2 c. flour 2 sticks butter or margarine 1 tsp. baking soda 1 tsp. vanilla 1 lb. jar raspberry preserves (Schwartau) Mix well all ingredients, except preserves. Press 1/2 to 3/4 of mixture in 12"x8" pan with hands. Spread preserves on top, evenly making an edge all around pan of 1/4", top with remaining crumbs and bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Cool well before cutting into squares. Sprinkle powdered sugar on top. |
