PISTACHIO CREAM CHEESE DESSERT 
1 1/2 c. flour
1 1/2 stick butter
3 tbsp. sugar
1/2 c. chopped nuts

Mix flour, butter, sugar and nuts, mixture will be crumbly. Press into 9 x 13 pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes. Cool.

8 oz. cream cheese
2/3 c. powdered sugar
One half of an 8 oz. Cool Whip

Mix cream cheese and powdered sugar. Fold in the 4 ounces of Cool Whip. Spread on cooled crust.

2 1/2 c. milk
2 pkgs. pistachio pudding mix

Mix milk and pudding mix. It will thicken. Spread over cream cheese layer. let set for 5 minutes.

Other half of the 8 oz. Cool Whip

Spread 4 ounces Cool Whip over pudding.

Chopped nuts

Sprinkle with chopped nuts. Chill. Optional: marachino cherries, cut in fourths, may be used to decorate top. Each individual serving can have its own "flower". Effective for the Christmas season.
