SAUSAGE SPINACH LOAF | |
3/4 lb. bulk pork sausage 1 (16 oz.) loaf frozen bread dough, thawed 1 (8 oz.) pkg. shredded Mozzarella cheese (2 cups) 1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen chopped spinach, thawed and well drained In a medium skillet cook sausage until no pink remains; drain. On a lightly floured surface roll dough to a 15 x 8 inch rectangle. Sprinkle cheese over dough, leaving a 1 inch border around all edges. Top with sausage and spinach. Bring long sides of dough together; pinch to seal edges and ends. Place loaf, seam side down, on a greased baking sheet. Bake in a 350 degree oven for 30 to 35 minutes or until golden brown. Let stand 8 to 10 minutes; cut into slices to serve. Makes 6 servings. |
