Just made this...lots of great reviews..I must have done something wrong! Mine were tough as leather...oh well, I'll try again. I covered with foil. Directions didn't say that but some of the reviewers did.

I just made this and was a little unsure of the original recipe as to whether or not to cover the chops with water completely or not (I didn't). Also whether or not boneless chops (mine boneless). I followed Jim's advice and cooked covered for an hour at 400°F then broiled with BBQ sauce 2-3 minutes each side. They came out pretty good but probably a bit over cooked. Next time would not cook for a full hour before broiling.. Maybe 45-50 mins. Overall pretty yummy though!

So yummy! Its my go to for my small family of 3. And the boys love it! I added just a lil seasoning salt for flavor and it came out great! Try with mac n cheese, baked beans and cornbread for a nice meal!

This was fantastic...not only was it easy to prepare but the pork chops were so juicy and had a nice crispy texture on the outside. Will definitely make this again! Thanks!

Very good recipe! I skipped the onion and went with the minced onion seasoning in the water. I also added cajun seasoning and garlic powder, as well as A1 Chicken and Pork Sauce to the water. This is a wonder and very flexible recipe. With thinner cut pork chops, the cooking time does not need to be the whole hour.

I luv pork, especially chops. It's only my husband and myself to cook for. I followed the recipe with beer , chicken stock, onions, and added additional seasonings. It was delicious. Next time I will make a thicker sauce out of the brew. Yummiest and tender.

I made them just like you said, mine did come out a little tough but that's probably because I didn't cover them (couldn't find the cover to my pan) other then that they tasted great lots of flavor!
