Baked Pork Chops

These were beyond excellent. Never a huge fan of pork chops, but these were amazing and easy. Tip: I would use much more bread crumbs as the pork chops soaked up much of the 1 cup and could have used better coverage. The one problem was that, despite spraying cookie sheet very thoroughly with spray to keep it from sticking, the chops stuck firmly to the pan. These were the ones that did not have as much breading on them (I was running out). So when I lifted them off to serve, it stayed on the cookie sheet and the pretty coating was removed. Oh well. Maybe dusting with some flour would help too?? (on the cookie sheet). Everyone raved about them!

This was soo good. I put a little shredded cheese on top of mine 3-5 minutes before it came out of the oven and it tasted fabulous.

Very good! I used garlic salt instead of regular salt and only baked my small, boneless chops for 35 minutes. Also, we used saltine crumbs and you need WAY more than one cup for six small chops. We had more than enough batter but probably used 3 cups of saltine crumbs. Delish!

Great dish, use parchment paper when baking, spray that with cooking spray, then they should not stick.. Great low cal.

This is a fantastic recipe and I use it all the time, HOWEVER... one crucial step is not included in the recipe. The chops MUST be briefly seared on the outside prior to baking them. Saute them for about 10 seconds each side on high heat until they are golden brown then finish in the oven. Otherwise you will have a mushy breading and it will definitely stick to the pan.

I'm not usually in the kitchen but I love how easy this was. I seared them first and used saltine crackers; they must've been good cause my husband ate it up! He gave them a 9 out of 10! Yea me!

this is good, frying the chops in oil is important before baking.
