FARMER'S WASHDAY CAKE 
2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. cinnamon
3/4 tsp. salt
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. butter, softened
1 c. raisins, soaked in warm water, drained
2 tsp. vanilla
1 c. chopped nuts
21 oz. canned pie filling (apple, peach, apricot, or cherry)

TOPPING:

3/4 c. sugar
2 tsp. cinnamon

Sift flour, soda, cinnamon, salt and sugar into a large bowl. Add rest of ingredients and mix well until no more flour is visible. Put into a greased 9x13 inch pan.

Mix together sugar and cinnamon. Sprinkle over batter. Bake in 350 degree oven for 35-50 minutes.
