PUTSCH'S FRESH SPINACH SALAD
1 lb. spinach (fresh, rinsed and dried, torn into sm. pieces) 2 hard boiled eggs, chopped 1/4 c. chopped onion 1/2 c. chopped celery 1 c. sm. pieces cheddar cheese 1/4 tsp. vinegar 1/2 c. mayonnaise 2 tbsp. horseradish Mix well and serve chilled. This is from a Kansas City restaurant my Mom, Grandma, and I went to after shopping in K.C. when I was a little girl.

Have made this for years. Met someone who told me they left out an ingredient. Dry mustard, about a teaspoon. Really could taste the difference. Just like the restaurant.

I used to work for Putsch's in Overland Park (Metcalf South). This recipe looks great but I remember a few differences. We always added a few shakes of Tabasco sauce and the cheese was coarsely grated. Thanks!
