COBBLER TOPPING 
1 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1 egg
3/4 c. sugar
2/3 c. oatmeal
1/2 c. oil

1. Mix dry ingredients together, drop in egg and mix well. Add oil and mix well.

2. Crumble topping over any choice of fresh or canned fruit. Bake at 350 degrees until golden brown.

This is my go to recipe for coblers. It makes an excellent peach or apple crust. Sweet, but not too sweet. Prefectly moist, but bakes up cookie like. I've made it several times and it has never failed.
