3 eggs
1 1/2 c. salad oil
2 c. sugar
3 c. flour
1/4 c. milk
1 tbsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. vanilla
3 c. chopped apples
1 c. chopped pecans

Combine the ingredients in the order listed. Spread in a 9 x 13 inch greased cake pan and bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. While cake is still hot, ice with the following topping.

Combine 1/4 pound butter, 1/4 cup milk and 1 cup brown sugar. Bring to a boil, cook for 2 1/2 minutes and pour over cake.
