THE BEST FRIED PORK CHOPS
(PUERTO RICO)

4 or 5 pork chops
1/4 cup vegetable oil, for frying

SEASONING MIX:

1 tbsp. vinegar
1 tsp. vegetable oil
2 garlic cloves, grated
1 medium onion, grated
1 env. Sazon seasoning (Goya)
1 tbsp. Adobo seasoning (Badia)

Clean your pork chops put them in a mixing bowl. Add vinegar and oil. Grate garlic cloves. Grate onion. Add Sazon and Adobo seasoning.

Mix all ingredients making sure all the pork chops are covered with the mix.

Heat 1/4 cup of oil over medium heat. Add the pork chops and cover.

Note: Every time you cover the pork chops sometimes you have to lower the heat so the pork chops cook nice and slow.

Once the pork chops look half way cooked on both sides uncover them and let them finish cooking uncovered so they could get a golden brown or just brown color to them.

I hope you love them. You could make a side dish of rice or when I am feeling lazy I make fries and it's still great.. Another thing if you think you like them more salty next time add a little more Adobo. I love my food with a great taste, not too to salty but some people do.

Enjoy!

Serves 4 or 5.

These fried pork chops were incredible - the seasoning really brings out the flavor of the meat. I served them on a bed of steamed rice.
