HOMEMADE ICE CREAM 
1 qt. milk
1 c. sugar
4 eggs
1 heaping tbsp. flour or cornstarch

Bring milk to a boil, watch carefully. Beat eggs well. Combine sugar, eggs and flour; mix well. Add to milk and cook until thickened, stirring constantly. Remove from heat and let cool. Add 2 cups cream or 1 can of Carnation or Milnot evaporated milk, 1 1/2 cups sugar and enough vanilla to taste. Mix well. Pour into freezer can to within 3" or 4" from top.
