MICROWAVE BEEF & CABBAGE
CASSEROLE
 
1 lb. ground beef
1 med. onion, chopped
2 tbsp. butter
1 c. carrots, finely shredded
3 c. cabbage, finely shredded
1 tsp. salt
Pepper to taste
1/2 c. Cheddar cheese, shredded
16 oz. spaghetti sauce
1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 tbsp. chives, chopped

Microwave ground beef in a 2 quart dish for 3 minutes, stirring once halfway through. Add onion and microwave for 3 more minutes. Add butter and carrots. Microwave 1 to 2 minutes. Combine spaghetti sauce, Worcestershire sauce and chives. Place cabbage over meat mixture. Pour sauce over top of cabbage. Cover and microwave for 10 minutes. Stir to mix. Press down slightly and microwave for another 3 to 4 minutes. Add cheese on top.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
