MICROWAVE LIVER AND ONIONS | |
Since only my husband likes liver, and I don't like standing around frying it, this is a great way to cook an unlikable meal. 2 tbsp. butter 1/4 cup all-purpose flour 1 1/2 tsp. seasoned salt (Lawry's) 1 lb. liver, cut in serving size pieces 1 medium onion, thinly sliced 1/2 cup water Melt butter in 12x8-inch dish (30 to 60 seconds). Combine flour and seasoned salt. Dredge liver in flour. Place liver in dish. Sprinkle excess flour over liver. Add remaining ingredients. Cover with plastic wrap. Microwave at HIGH 5 minutes. Reduce power to 50% (medium). Microwave 11-15 minutes or until liver is fork tender. Turn over and rearrange pieces after half the cooking time. Serves 4. |
