BEEF CABBAGE CASSEROLE 
1 1/2 lbs. lean ground beef
1/2 c. chopped onions
1/2 c. chopped green pepper
1 can (16 oz.) tomatoes, cut up
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. garlic salt
2 lbs. cabbage, cut into 6 or 8 wedges
3/4 c. shredded Swiss cheese

(Can add any vegetable - carrots are good.)

Cook beef, onion, and green pepper until meat is browned. Stir in tomatoes, salt and garlic salt and simmer uncovered 15 minutes. Cook cabbage wedges in small amount of salted water 10 to 12 minutes (covered). Drain well - arrange cabbage in 9 x 9 inch pan. Pour meat mix over.

Bake uncovered at 350 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes. Sprinkle cheese over meat and bake 2-3 minutes longer, uncovered.
