CREAMED CHICKEN ON TOAST | |
4 tbsp. butter 4 tbsp. flour 1/4 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. pepper 2 c. milk 1 1/2 c. cooked chicken Frozen peas Melt butter in saucepan over low heat. Blend in flour, salt and pepper. Cook, stirring until mixture is smooth and bubbly. Remove from heat. Stir in milk. Heat to boiling, stirring constantly. Boil and stir 1 minute. Add cooked chicken and peas. Heat through. Serve over toast, rice, biscuits. |
