“AMBROSIA FRUIT SALAD” IS IN:

AMBROSIA FRUIT SALAD 
sour cream
powdered sugar
flaked coconut
canned fruit salad, drained
canned mandarin oranges, drained
bananas
canned pears, drained
canned peaches, drained
miniature marshmallows
canned pineapple chunks, drained
whipped cream
maraschino cherries

Combine all together except powdered sugar in a large bowl, Whip all together, use powdered sugar as a thickener until desired thickness. Refrigerate until chilled. Best if left in the refrigerator overnight. Enjoy!

Cooks Note: Suggested quantity per ingredient: One package or can.

I substituted powdered sugar with a packet of cheescake flavor instant jello pudding (I made a double batch). Made for a little thicker consistency and added a little flair. Big hit at the family get together!!

Since I love the taste of coconut but not the texture, I substitute Coco Lopez for the coconut. It's awesome!!

You can change up this recipe so many ways. I had an abundance of apples this time around and added them. I have done grapes, pecans and walnuts for variety. Hardest part is leaving it alone to get cold in the fridge and let the flavors mix. Thank you, Mr. Musick.
