“GINO'S SPAGHETTI SAUCE” IS IN:

GINO'S SPAGHETTI SAUCE 
1 carrot, grated
1 onion, grated
4 stalks celery, grated
1/2 cup olive oil
1 tablespoon fresh basil, chopped
4 cloves garlic, minced

Preheat oven to 425°F.

Mix above grated ingredients together. Note: A food processor makes this job go quickly. Bake for 30 minutes in a large deep baking pan. Add:

2-3 lbs. ground beef, browned separately, grease drained

Combine beef with roasted vegetables above and bake for 15 minutes.

Note: Your oven may vary, and as you bake, stir occasionally and watch how the sauce is progressing, adjusting oven temperature as needed.

2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. pepper
1 tsp. garlic powder
1/2 tsp. onion powder
1/2 tsp, oregano

Add to ground beef and vegetable mixture and bake for 15 minutes.

Add 4 (6 oz. ea.) cans tomato paste and 4 cans water; mix well and bake for additional hour. Baking time adds up to 2 hours all at 425°F.

Season to taste with all/any of the above seasonings and serve over your favorite pasta or on home-made pizza.
