HOMEMADE VANILLA ICE CREAM 
1 qt. cream
4 eggs, beat well
2 c. sugar
Vanilla
Lemon

Add sugar to eggs and beat well. Stir in cream, and vanilla and lemon to taste.

Pour in freezing container. Fill to within 2 inches of top with whole milk.

Around container pour ice and coarse salt alternately. Ice cream is frozen when motor labors. Makes 6 quarts.
