2 tablespoons cornstarch
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
1 can (12 fl. oz.) NESTLÉ® CARNATION® Evaporated Milk

I made this yesterday for Thanksgiving and it was wonderful. I left the dry mustard out and it was still good. I usually make my tradtional mac and cheese but that recipe does not make the best leftovers(the cheese starts to curd) so I wanted to try something new and now I have replaced my old mac and cheese recipe.. thnx

We absolutely love this. Instead of water, I use the water the macaroni cooked in. This is the recipe I was looking for at thanksgiving, but the one I found doesn't compare to this one. I found this just in the nick of time for Christmas.

Best mac and cheese I have made. Good stuff. Through some season fine breadcrumbs on top for final 10 minutes of baking time.

I was looking for a simple Mac & Cheese recipe to fix for supper when I came across this recipe. I am so glad I found it. This has got to be THE most awesome mac and cheese I have EVER had. It is so creamy and delicious. I followed the recipe as it is written and I wouldn't change a thing. Its perfect.

I have read this recipe and it looks like it would make a nice meal. However I hate Carnation milk with a passion. I am going to try and make this but I am going to use coffee cream instead of Carnation milk.

 Ginny (New Jersey) says:
It came out a bit gritty. I used a block of sharp cheddar that I shredded myself and a lil bit of mozzarella that I had in the fridge. IDK why it tasted gritty but I prolly won't be making this again. However it baked up nice and brown on top
