2 1/2 c. applesauce
1/2 c. shortening
2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking soda
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 pkg. raisins
1 c. chopped nuts
1/2 lb. mixed candied fruit

Mix applesauce and shortening. Mix flour, soda, sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg and salt and add to applesauce. Mix raisins, nuts and candied fruit and add to applesauce. Grease loaf pan. Bake 1 hour in 350 degree oven.
