GRANNY'S ICE BOX COOKIES 
1 lb. brown sugar
1 c. butter
3 eggs
1 tsp. cream of tartar
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. pecans
4 c. flour

Stir and put in icebox or deep freeze to chill for several hours. Separate the dough into about 3 parts and wrap in wax paper. Later you can just slice and bake at 350 degrees.
