HERMAN ROLLS & BREAD | |
1 c. Herman or Amish Friendship Bread Starter 2 c. flour 1 tsp. baking powder 1 tsp. salt 1 pkg. yeast dissolved in 1/2 c. warm water 1 egg (opt.) but best for rolls 1/4 c. oil Mix all ingredients together. Dough will be sticky. Let rise to double in size. Add a small amount of flour and knead 10 minutes. Form into loaf or rolls. Let rise to double in size. Bake at 400°F for 20 minutes for rolls, longer for bread. Use this recipe for cinnamon rolls. |
