This recipe is fool proof! You will never be dissapointed with the results. I used another sourdough starter to make this recipe, but it worked just as well! I always wondered how to make those Amish-type dinner rolls and I have finally done it!

Used very active, bubbly, fluffy Herman that's low sugar, for my needs, so added 1 tbsp. sugar and use the egg. Fluffed flour before measuring. Made a thin batter. Added 3/4 cup additional flour, still batter, so autolysed for 30 minutes. Added 1/4 cup more flour, still very thick batter, let it rise. Rose high, too wet to knead, added about 1/2 cup more flour. Dough too tender, too soft to shape, put them in 9x13 and cut them into 15 pieces, let rise, baked. Nice soft roll, delicious but definitely sour taste. Will add more sugar next time.
