1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. butter
1 egg
2 1/2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. almond flavoring
1 c. chopped pecans

Cream sugar and butter. Add egg and almond flavoring; mix well. Add flour, baking powder and soda. Make a stiff dough and then add pecans. Roll into two rolls and wrap with wax paper. Chill in refrigerator. Slice and bake in 350 degree oven until edges start browning.
