This is an incredibly easy and delicious recipe. I cannot bear store bought frosting, and there are times I want a buttercream like frosting over 'seven-minute' or 'boiled (fudge-like)' types. It turned out FABULOUS. It even seemed to taste better the next day. I will definitely use this very easy and delicious frosting again! Thank you for sharing it.

I just made this with powdered sugar and half-and-half. It tastes like old-fashioned fudge! It was just the right amount for a 9x9 pan of brownies. I would double or triple this for a cake. Thanks for sharing this--it's a keeper!

This recipe worked great with plain Silk soy milk and vegan buttery sticks, too. Tastes so rich and creamy that company did not know there was little-to-no milk fat in it!

The best recipe - delicious, easy to make & store. Will never use manufactured frosting again! Can't wait to try more flavors with other chips/extracts.

This was my first time making frosting on a stove so I was nervous about burning it. Thankfully, it didn't burn and tastes a lot like fudge. Pure heaven!

Wow!! This was perfect. My husband is so picky about chocolate and sceptical about frostings, but he actually loved this one! I used confectioners sugar and Ghirdellis semi sweet choc chips. Made the perfect amount for a 9x13 pan - no left overs.

Perfect!!! It's my husband's birthday tomorrow and our 6 year old daughter made this with a little supervision and a lot of love! We used evaporated milk, 1/2 & 1/2 sugars, and semi-sweet chips. There was enough for our triple chocolate cake and for us to taste test 10 times! :) great recipe!!

Awesome recipe! It seemed too sweet so I added a few tbsp. of cocoa powder to make it more chocolatey and thicker. So easy and I like that it's all-natural! This would be great for any dessert.
