OVEN BARBECUED SPARE RIBS 
4 lbs. spare ribs
1/2 c. finely chopped onion
1 c. catsup
2 tbsp. lemon juice
2 tbsp. brown sugar
1 tsp. salt
2 tbsp. butter
1 c. water
2 tbsp. vinegar
2 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp. dry mustard
1/4 tsp. pepper

Cut ribs into serving pieces, brown slowly in pan. Put in a baking dish. Pour fat from the pan and put in onion. Cook. Add remaining ingredients and simmer 20 minutes. Pour sauce over ribs. Bake, covered 1 1/2 hours at 350 degrees. 4-6 servings.
