DUTCH APPLE CRANBERRY BREAD 
1/2 c. butter
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. flour (all-purpose)
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/3 c. sour milk or orange juice
1 c. chopped apples
1/3 c. chopped walnuts
1/3 c. chopped raw cranberries

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Cream together butter and sugar. Add eggs and vanilla and beat well. Combine flour, soda and salt separately. Add the dry ingredients alternately with the liquid (either orange juice or sour milk). Fold in apples, cranberries and walnuts. Bake in greased 9 x 5 inch loaf pan for 55 minutes or until loaf tests done.

OPTIONS: Serve thin slices spread with whipped cream cheese.
