DUTCH APPLE-CRANBERRY BREAD 
1/2 c. butter
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/3 c. orange juice
1 c. chopped apple
1/3 c. chopped raw cranberries
1/3 c. chopped walnuts or pecans (optional)

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Cream together butter and sugar. Add eggs and vanilla and beat well. Combine separately the flour, soda and salt. Add dry ingredients alternately with the orange juice. Fold in apples, cranberries and nuts. Bake in greased 9x5 inch loaf pan for 55 minutes or until loaf tests done.
